I create drawings by using color pencil techniques. I usually work in series, with several pieces in progress at one time. A recurrent theme in my work is the female body: abstract, colorful and emotional. Sometimes, I have a specific intention and the form emerges accordingly. More often, the images just come to me and I follow my instincts. Through form and color, I seek to depict feelings and evoke moods that are not easily described in words. In essence, my work is often sensitive and somber, sometimes powerful and provocative.
